One of the most popular indicators I've created is my Improved MACD BB indicator. The indicator utilizes the standard MACD formula to calculate the values of the dots, and a modified version of the Bollinger Band formula to calculate the upper and lower bands. The Super MACD BB indicator utilizes the same formulas, but contains many additional features such as customizable alerts, and options for what types of moving averages to use in the MACD and Bollinger Band calculations.

The indicator contains several parameters that allow user customization. Below are definitions for each parameter indicator.
Alerts:
Each alert gives the option for audio alerts, email alerts, or both.
- Cross Above Lower Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses above the lower band.
- Cross Above Average Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses above the center band.
- Cross Above Upper Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses above the upper band.
- Cross Below Lower Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses below the lower band.
- Cross Below Average Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses below the center band.
- Cross Below Upper Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB crosses below the upper band.
- Rising Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB changes from falling to rising.
- Falling Alert - Allows you to specify alert options for when the MACD BB changes from rising to falling.
Parameters:
- Fast - Allows you to specify the type and length for the fast average in the MACD BB calculation.
- Slow - Allows you to specify the type and length for the slow average in the MACD BB calculation.
- Band Center - Allows you to specify the type and length for the center band in the Bollinger Band calculation.
- Num. Devs - Allows you to specify the number of deviations used in the Bollinger Band calculation.
- Rising MACD - Allows you to specify the color of the MACD BB dots when the value is rising.
- Falling MACD - Allows you to specify the color of the MACD BB dots when the value is falling.
- Rising Above MACD - Allows you to specify the color of the MACD BB dots when the value is rising and above the upper band.
- Falling Below MACD - Allows you to specify the color of the MACD BB dots when the value is falling and below the lower band.
Options for the Moving Average Types (Fast, Slow, and Band Center) include DEMA, EMA, HMA, LinReg, SMA, TEMA, TMA, VWMA, WMA, and ZLEMA.
